Responsible practice

Ethical Editing Policy

The boundaries that protect author ownership, scientific accuracy, and trust.

What we edit

We improve grammar, vocabulary, syntax, readability, academic tone, consistency, and presentation. Where language obscures meaning, we may leave a comment requesting author clarification.

What we do not do

We do not fabricate or manipulate data, invent references, conceal plagiarism, determine authorship, create deceptive submission materials, or guarantee publication.

Author responsibility

Authors retain full responsibility for scientific content, methods, data, analyses, interpretations, citations, permissions, disclosures, and approval of the final manuscript.

Confidentiality

Manuscripts and personal information should be handled only for the agreed service and should not be disclosed outside the editing workflow except where legally required or explicitly authorized.

Editing certificates

A certificate confirms that language editing was provided for the identified manuscript. Certificates are sent privately to the client and are not publicly searchable. A certificate is not a scientific endorsement or publication guarantee.
